Bras Around the Building is a Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign that will run for the month of October.

As part of this campaign, radio stations Country 105 and Energy 99.7 are kindly asking the ladies of Peterborough to each donate a gently used bra.

Energy 99.7 and Merrett Home Hardware Building Centre are raising bras and funds during October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  Women are encouraged to donate their gently used bras. For every bra collected, Merrett Home Hardware Building Centre will make a $1 contribution to the Canadian Cancer Society to support breast cancer research.

New or gently used bras can be dropped off until Thursday, Oct. 25th. Drop off locations include Merrett Home Hardware Building Centre (1460 Lansdowne St), The Co-operators (Milroy Drive), My Left Breast (203 Simcoe St Unit 3), Canadian Cancer Society (730 The Kingsway #2) and Country 105/Energy 99.7 studios (59 George Street North).  The Bras will then be hung on our building the morning of October 26th as we broadcast live outside our studios.  .

If you do not have a bra to donate, you can purchase a virtual bra with all money going to the Canadian Cancer Society.  To donate follow this link.
