Join Pedal for Hope at the Peterborough Airport as they make cancer history and break a World Record. Spectators welcome!

On Saturday, May 16, 2015 Peterborough attempts to set a Guinness Book of World Records for the number of head shaves simultaneously. They are looking for 500 participants so we can blow this record out of the water! (500 participants are accepted on a first come, first served basis).

For a $30 registration fee, you will receive a set of WAHL hair clippers, head shave cape and a commemorative hat to remember this amazing event. All participants are required to bring their own hairdresser (Mom, Dad or your BFF can shave your head as well).

Police officers, along with emergency service personnel, play a leadership role in organizing the Canadian Cancer Society Cops for Cancer events by involving communities across Ontario in fundraising and cancer awareness activities. The events range from head shaves in public places to participating in bike rides such as Pedal for Hope to organizing various school-based fundraising activities.

As this event supports pediatric cancer research, all participants are required to raise a minimum of $100 in pledges per person. Pledge sheets are available at the Canadian Cancer Society office:
730 The Kingsway, Peterborough.

To date, the Canadian Cancer Society Cops for Cancer program has raised more than $45 million across Canada!
