GoodLife opens Monaghan Co-Ed club in time for back-to-routine fitness
25,000 sq. ft. facility will feature two different fitness club models side-by-side
Peterborough residents will have a brand new space for fitness with the opening of a new Monaghan Co-Ed GoodLife Fitness club this Monday, September 12. The 25,000 square foot club is one of only a few clubs in Canada to feature a GoodLife Fitness and a Fit4Less by GoodLife beside one another.
“A number of our senior leaders, including myself, were born and raised in the Peterborough area, and many still call it home, so we’re especially happy to be able to invest in this community. Early September is a perfect time to open, since many people are getting back into their regular routines and making time for fitness,” said Kathy Kaye-Mackinnon, Vice President of Operations with GoodLife Fitness. “We’re looking forward to welcoming new and existing members through the doors of our new club and to showing them the range of amenities and services GoodLife offers.”
The Monaghan Co-Ed GoodLife Fitness Club features cardio equipment, a free weight area, group cycling, group fitness, personal training, virtual fitness, fitness orientations and Fit Fix – GoodLife’s custom 20-minute workout. Members also have access to massage chairs, sauna, towel service and the JUMP! child minding service. The club also offer on-demand and virtual fitness classes, as well as GoodLife’s new Turf Zone, a synthetic turf-covered area dedicated to personal and team training.
Both clubs, which are located at 898 and 899 Monaghan Road, will be open for workouts starting at 5 a.m. on Monday, September 12. GoodLife Fitness is offering a discount on memberships at the Monaghan Co-Ed club until the end of September.
