Team VanRaHan ready to Frolic for the Peterborough Humane Society

Feline and Fido Frolic Fur Ball to take place Saturday February 23rd

Each year the Peterborough Humane Society hosts a gala which is one of its major sources of funding for operational costs. This year, the Peterborough Humane Society is pleased to present the 6th annual Fur Ball – The Feline and Fido Frolic – which will be taking place on Saturday February 23rd at the Peterborough Golf and Country Club.

The event promises to outdo all previous years, with an outdoor coffee bar, a glamorous photos shoot (rumour has it puppies will be involved once again) a gourmet meal, a silent and live auction with incredible opportunities for one and all, and dancing to the tunes of DJ Dolla’ Bill (Porter) to cap the night off.

To make this year the year to top them all, we are delighted to announce Team VanraHan, Ben Van Veen and Catherine Hanrahan, are our Chair Couple for the gala. “We are delighted to have this opportunity to partner with the Peterborough Humane Society. We have many pets in our home, and Sly is in fact a rescue from the shelter”, stated Mr. VanVeen.

The evening will be led by Peterborough’s one and only Stuart Harrison, president of the Chamber of Commerce. All things considered, it will be an evening like none other for 2019!

“Having the support of both Ben and Catherine, as well as Stu, for this upcoming event is a dream come true for an event planner such as myself,” stated Susan Dunkley, Manager of Development and Outreach. “There wil be lots of great surprises throughout the evening, and we have a great team who is working hard to make it a most memorable evening – most especially for the animals. All proceeds will go directly to providing care for the over 3000 animals that are in our care throughout the year.”

Get your tickets early. The event has sold out the past two years and promises to do so again this year!
