Adam Scott + Scruffy’s TEAM 55 – Suicide Awareness and Prevention

Team 55 was started this fall by Dave and Heather Pogue, with the Canadian Mental Health Association and Adam Scott Lions junior football team, following the suicide of their son and Lions’ alumnus Mitchell Pogue. Scruffy, (Jonathan Lopes), is a grade 12 student currently attending Adam Scott C.V.I. Last year, Scruffy ran a mental health fundraiser entitled “Purple Scruffy” and raised over $500.0 in under two weeks for DBSA (Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance). September 2016 Housing Starts in Peterborough

Housing starts in the Peterborough Census Metropolitan Area (CMA) were trending up at 656 units in September compared to 524 units in August, according to Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC). The trend is a six month moving average of the monthly seasonally adjusted annual rates (SAAR) of housing starts. “Demand for new homes has proved resilient.
