The City of Peterborough is undertaking a study that will include a Transit Route Review, a Long Term Growth Strategy for the Transit System, and a plan for the Downtown Transit Terminal.The first part of the study, the Transit Route Review, is now underway. Come to a drop-in meeting on February 5, 2019 to share your ideas about how Peterborough Transit routes and services can better serve you and our community. Or you can provide feedback through our project website ptstudy.ca.

“This study focuses on reviewing our current route system with a view to improving travel times and enhancing service for passengers. We will also be looking at the future of our transit system and our downtown terminal to identify strategies to better serve future growth, further increase transit ridership, and help the City achieve a higher share of trips using transit,” said Kevin Jones, manager of transportation. “We want to start this process with input from members of the community about their experience with transit and their ideas to make it better.”
